Material Handler
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $18/hr
9115 Hague Rd, Indianapolis, IN

Job description:

• Responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
• Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
• Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
• Examines, stocks, and distributes materials to inventory and manufacturing lines.
• May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
• Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods with a moderate degree of supervision.
• Valid Driver’s License-able to drive a box truck.
• Lift boxes and move them around campus.

Skills & Experience

• Must have driver’s license-able to drive a box truck
• Forklift operation
• Machine experience a plus
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Must be computer savvy (Preferred)

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Must be able to pass a 7-year background check
