Contract extension or conversion to FTE based on performance, attendance, and business needs
Work Setup: In-office, 5 days a week
Position Summary
Beneficiary Services is a specialized team designed to assist with the processing of client accounts during the inheritance process.
The Beneficiary Services Specialist will be responsible for managing the transition of assets for individual clients by serving as a Subject Matter Expert for Wealth Management Clients, Financial Advisors, Client Service Associates, and Branch Management. This role requires close collaboration with branches and internal departments, supporting through various applications, and processing paperwork in a virtual branch environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated one-on-one support for clients throughout the inheritance process, leveraging effective relationship management skills.
- Proactively communicate with clients via phone and email, ensuring transparency, empathy, and high service levels.
- Process and follow up on client service requests to ensure timely completion.
- Set and manage expectations with clients and beneficiaries in line with internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Deliver world-class customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Research and resolve client and internal issues accurately and in a timely manner.
- Accurately document all case interactions using internal systems.
- Monitor and manage daily caseload using technology resources.
- Apply verification policies to protect against identity theft and fraud.
- Stay current on Compliance and Firm guidelines to mitigate risk.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- College degree preferred.
- 3–4 years of financial services industry experience, including:
- Client service interactions
- Knowledge of estates, trusts, and retirement plans
- Account opening and asset distribution processes
- Strong clerical and administrative skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and client service abilities
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up
- Ability to research, resolve, and escalate problems when appropriate
- Capable of managing high volumes of requests in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with financial systems and procedures (preferred)
- Self-motivated team player, adaptable in high-activity environments
