Financial Services Representative
Financial Service Representative - Annuity New Business
Pay Rate: $19 per hour, paid weekly
Location of Assignment: Hybrid; 1000 Yard Street, H Building, Grandview Heights, Columbus OH, 43212
Schedule: Regular business hours
Target Start Date: 02/16/26, upon completion of new hire onboarding
Role Overview:
As a Financial Services Analyst within our client's Annuity New Business department, you'll review and process new annuity contracts, ensure applications meet underwriting standards, and send Letter of Acceptance (LOA) packets.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and process new annuity applications to ensure all requirements are met

Accurately key and issue new contracts within established timelines

Send LOA packets and communicate clearly with internal partners to move cases forward

Maintain consistency and quality in all work to support business standards

Identify and resolve routine issues using basic problem-solving techniques
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; Recent degree in finance, business, insurance, economics, or communications preferred
- Experience: Three years work experience with two years product-related customer service work experience preferred.
- Skills:

Knowledge of general office practices, customer service, and office equipment

Familiarity with information systems and insurance/financial services industry practices (e.g., annuities, mutual funds) preferred

Basic mathematics and understanding of office filing systems and recordkeeping procedures

Strong problem-solving techniques and decision-making skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management

Ability to evaluate problems and analyze customer inquiries to determine appropriate actions
