Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory Technician
Location: 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, IN
Duration: Contract with potential for extension or conversion
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay Rate: $23.10/hour

Job Summary:
As a Quality Control Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of raw materials, packaging components, intermediates, and finished products. You’ll conduct routine and semi-routine analyses, maintain lab equipment, and document results in alignment with strict safety and regulatory guidelines. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on laboratory experience while contributing to process improvements and ensuring product integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform testing and analyses on raw materials, packaging, intermediates, and finished goods to confirm conformance to specifications.
• Document test results and compile data for quality records.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments as required.
• Revise and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect current practices.
• Train new team members on lab methods, techniques, and safety protocols.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to support quality and process improvements.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements in all laboratory operations.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Specialized or advanced training in science, electronics, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 1+ years of laboratory experience.
• 1+ years of experience in a regulated environment.
• Background in process improvement or quality initiatives.
• Prior technical or scientific work experience.
